Wasp nest Treatment is the safe and professional treatment of wasp nests using specialist insecticides. We provide same-day wasp control throughout Wrexham, Chester and North Wales.
The common wasp (Vespula vulgaris) and German wasp (Vespula germanica) are widespread across Wrexham. Nests are established by queens in spring and can house 3,000–8,000 workers by late summer. A disturbed nest is extremely dangerous as wasps defend aggressively and can sting repeatedly.

Common Questions About Wasp in Wrexham

How do you know if you have a wasp nest?

Signs include high volumes of wasps around one area, a visible papery nest in lofts, roof eaves, airbricks, or underground, a low humming sound from walls or ceilings, and wasps repeatedly entering or exiting a small hole in brickwork.

Are wasp stings dangerous?

For most people, wasp stings are painful but not dangerous. However, those with wasp venom allergies can suffer anaphylaxis—a life-threatening reaction. Multiple stings from a disturbed nest can cause serious harm even without allergies.

How quickly can you remove a wasp nest in Wrexham?

We aim for same-day attendance. Our technician applies professional insecticidal dust or spray directly to the nest entrance. Within 24–48 hours, the nest becomes inactive. We offer a full treatment guarantee—if wasps return to the same nest, we retreat at no extra charge.

Do you need to physically remove the nest?

Nest removal is not always necessary. Once treated and inactive, the nest poses no risk and will not be reused. Removal can be arranged if specifically required.
